The walking safari: one of Bardia National Park's most unique experiences
Exploring a jungle full of wild animals on foot is not something you can do anywhere. Especially when coming face to face with a bengal tiger, a wild elephant, a rhino or any of the many endangered species in Bardia National Park. If you go for a walking safari in Bardia National Park, you need to choose your guide carefully.
At Sunsetview Safari Lodge, we make sure you stay safe, as we work with experienced, renowned and trusted wildlife guides.

Sunrise
Have your breakfast while watching the beautiful sunrise from our outdoor dining hall. While you are eating, our team will finish preparing everything you need for your backpack: a pair of binoculars, your packed lunch, some water, juice, fruits and biscuits.

Get ready!
Finish packing, dress to blend in with the forest, grab your jungle stick, and follow your guide and their assistant to the National Park entrance.

Let the adventure begin!
Your Walking Safari journey starts here. Move quietly but keep your eyed pilled...Throughout the day, your guide will take you to a few different locations where you will be able to observe animals.

sunset
As sunset approached, it's time to leave the park. While crossing the grasslands on your way back to civilisation, keep an eye out for the beautiful spotted deers grazing in the golden light...
