Pramesh
Pramesh is the soul of Sunsetview, he was born and bred here, and grew up as a wildlife guide in Bardia National Park. He is the epitomy of local culture, and managing and organising jungle safaris is his speciality! With years of experience in the jungle, he has a deep knowledge of local traditions and wildlife
His vision for Sunsetview has always been to combine authentic Nepalese hospitality with a level of comfort and service that meets international standards. Many guests say staying here feels just like being welcomed into a family home.
Alongside this story, Pramesh shares his life with Noémie, his French partner. Though she is not involved in running Sunsetview, she adds an international touch to the journey they share together in Bardia.

Amrit
Meet Amrit, the chef of Sunsetview! He comes from the Tharu community, the indigenous people of Bardia. We are glad to have had him as part of our team for several years.
According to our guests, he is one of the best cooks of Nepal, and if you’re lucky he will be happy to share some of his kitchen secrets…!
Anit
Amrit’s younger brother, Anit is a very promising and aspiring wildlife guide! After completing is Wildlife Guide Training a few years ago, he is now working with us as a guide and is also greatly helping in all sort of management at the lodge.

Ritu
Ritu is the head chef’s second-in-command, and an excellent cook! She looks after the vegetable garden like her baby. She is also the one we can thank for the impeccable cleanliness of the bedrooms.
Jagat
Experienced Senior Wildlife Guide, Jagat grew up in Bardia and is a childhood friend of Pramesh. He speaks French, which helps a lot of our french-speaking guests feel comfortable while exploring the jungle.
